‘Post Conflict. Refraiming a dialogue’ How we reformulate the dialogue in a post-conflict period? More than twenty international artists exploring a range of emerging theories.
Our main goal was to represent post-conflict, dialogue and tension through a contemporary, strong and solid image inspired by ‘square’ studies by Bruno Munari in the 1960’s.
‘The end of fighting does propose an opportunity to work towards lasting peace’.
This year´s edition reflects on the meaning of conflict. More specifically it focuses its aftermath, the consequences of conflict and the reconstruction of post-conflict dialogues.
Getxophoto is an international image festival that brings different photographers visions from all over the world to the city of Getxo, setting a contemporary conversation about the theme proposed each year.
